Aug 23, 2021 · Glock reliability is about as good as it gets. I got my Hellcat in 2021. Since I refuse to pay current market price for 9mm, the Hellcat has only ever had 10 rounds of 124 grain Speer Gold Dots and about 350 of my own loads through it (115 grain FMJ with 4.8 grains of Unique). It has had no issues of any kind so far.

On another note, this is not a catastrophic failure such as a broken striker or spring. You can simply pull the trigger again. There are 4-6 broken Hellcat strikers after just a few rounds or light dry firing- see reports on YT and some forums. I'm still getting dialed in with my Hellcat - and I'm coming from primarily an XD-s. Two extremely similar firearms, but I'm still seeing different POIs with the same technique. In a pinch, either one will "work" - I still put the whole mag into an 8" plate at 10 yards - I just need to get the grouping centered.
After a few days the warranty crossed my mind! I contacted Springfield and told them that it was their mistake to lock the screws of the optics plate on a optics ready handgun. They acknowledge it and took it for a RMA. I sent the gun and the red dot.
